Fortunately (or unfortunately), Washington University sends out security alerts every now and then.

One way of receiving these alerts is through email.

To opt-in to these emails, go to the HR page (http://hr.wustl.edu/), click HRMS Login at the top of the page, log in with your WUSTL Key, click Employee Self-Service (on the left), Personal Information, Personal Information Summary, and then click the button that says Change Emergency Notification Options.
